Martin Sher leaves SolveXia for Milliman
Martin Sher has left his position as managing director of SolveXia responsible for European activities and joined Milliman as European MG-ALFA product manager.
Based in London, Sher will lead marketing, sales and support activities to expand the European presence of MG-ALFA, Milliman's actuarial modelling system for life insurance companies.
Sher said he is confident that "the MG-ALFA US market leadership will be replicated in Europe," adding that the system's projection speed and capacity "is 10 times more efficient than legacy systems."
Jonathan Glass and Mark Schneider, Sydney-based managing directors of SolveXia Pty Ltd, said that "the firm's growth plans in Europe, North America and Asia remain on track." The company produces web-based process automation and operational risk software.
