NZ Superfund to invest in cat bonds
The New Zealand Superannuation Fund will invest between $125m and $250m in catastrophe bonds after appointing Elementum Advisors, LLC to manage its portfolio. The Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation will predominately invest in US hurricanes and earthquakes covers, with some products covering European wind storms and Japanese earthquakes.
