Prudential confirms AIG deal terminated

UK insurer Prudential on Thursday confirmed its agreement to buy American International Group's Asia life insurance unit had been terminated and said it would pay AIG a termination fee of £152.6m (See IERM, 2 June 2010, Corporate strategy, "UK's Prudential ends $35.5bn Asian takeover bid").
