US life insurance rating outlook still negative -Moody's

Financial pressures have started to ease for US life insurers, but not enough for Moody's Investors Service to change the industry's negative credit outlook, the rating agency said in a report. Weak earnings constrained by the poor state of the economy and investment losses will continue to hurt internal capital generation at the life companies.
