In its work over the last year, Decision Focus has offered a platform combining GRC capabilities and modules into one central hub, allowing insurance clients in the Americas to meet regulatory requirements, ensure compliance, and manage operational risk via an integrated assurance GRC philosophy.

The firm aims to deliver functionality in the areas of risk identification, management, and monitoring; risks and control self-assessments; and risk reporting. In doing so, it looks to address the pain points it feels are experienced by most companies. It reported that it has achieved tangible results for clients by eliminating time-wasting events and streamlining processes.

Over the year, the firm worked with BMS to ensure a smooth onboarding and transition. Additionally, there was little end-user training required due to the views and dashboards in the Decision Focus system. BMS went on to identify further areas of their business where the solution could help them embed a healthy risk culture and achieve operational resilience.

Decision Focus has, in addition, worked with Arch Capital Group across multiple areas of operational risk: information security, third party risk management, underwriting audits, claims quality assurance, Sarbanes Oxley, operational resilience, and cyber security.
