LCP's commitment towards diversity and inclusion has been paired with real results within its own internal organisation and culture, earning it InsuranceERM's diversity and inclusion excellence title.
Over the past six years, LCP has reduced its mean pay gap by 35%, with 91% of its colleagues agreeing that the firm respects individual differences.
In 2025, LCP turned its attention to social mobility and intergenerational collaboration an event coinciding with the wider insurance industry's push to broad its talent pool. Through discussions on blind recruitment, reverse mentoring and cultural inclusion, the event provided both encouragement and a clear reminder of the work still required.
LCP's colleagues have also volunteered time towards diversity and inclusion outside the organisation, with 44 individuals, including 15 dedicated career coaches, focusing on helping young people from underrepresented socioeconomic backgrounds achieve their career goals.
LCP's chief executive has also contributed to key research on diversity and inclusion, including on projects launched at the UK Houses of Parliament. Other examples include contributions at influential conferences, bringing LCP's approach to diversity and inclusion to those outside its organisation and industry.
