Best Solvency II solution: zeb, zeb.control.regulatory - Solvency II

Since Solvency II regulations became effective throughout the EU in January 2016, insurers have been getting to grips with the complex and varied requirements.

During the introductory period, zeb supported more than 60 insurance companies with the fulfilment of Solvency II requirements (covering all three pillars: capital requirements, governance and risk management, and reporting) by delivering procedural advice and assistance, as well as the zeb.control software.

zeb.control is a modular software suite that supports all relevant Solvency II functions and offers groups and solo undertakings a standardised way to deal with issues, such as calculation of the quantitative figures and fulfilling the reporting requirements.

With zeb.control, zeb supports its clients in creating and submitting their quantitative reporting templates (solo and group) and implementing the own risk and solvency assessment.

The integrated approach of zeb.control also reduces complexity for clients by reducing the number of interfaces and automating processes within the application.

As for the future, Eric Tobias Henn, marketing manager at zeb, says in 2019, zeb will continue to work closely with its customers to develop new features for the Solvency II solution.

This will include regular taxonomy updates and the implementation of a cloud-based platform so that customers do not need to install or run any software components locally.
