Insurance Ireland has launched a network, Insurance Skillnet, to back skills development, innovation and future-focused training in the Irish insurance market.
Established in partnership with Skillnet Ireland, it will offer subsidised, practical and industry-designed training programmes aligned with digital transformation, ESG, innovation and leadership.
The training can be done in person, online or blended, and there are options for tailored in-company training.
Membership is free and open to all organisations operating in the insurance ecosystem in Ireland, with guidance also provided by a cross-sector steering group.
Moyagh Murdock, CEO of Insurance Ireland, said cross‑industry collaboration was essential to ensure the insurance sector “can respond to the changing working environment, remain competitive, and continue to invest in specialist training and upskilling”.
