LCP's InsurSight wins the award for reserving solution of the year, with the actuarial consultancy doing six major releases in the last twelve months, alongside a successful launch in Canada following its US debut the previous year. The resulting momentum saw it convert pipeline opportunities into active users across the North American market.
The rapid expansion of LCP's InsurSight product can be seen as moving from its well-established UK and global specialty markets client base to being used to assess over $260bn of reserves across over 30 different insurers.
Amongst its achievements in 2025 was being central to the actuarial processes of one of the largest personal and commercial lines insurers in the world. The client approached the firm with the intention of improving the efficiency of its actuarial work, which required analysis for business insight and reserve projections across hundreds of lines of business at a granular level.
Following implementation, InsurSight was able to help identify trends, such as early warnings of decreased profitability on casualty lines, higher inflation in recent claims payments not being matched by increases to case reserves on US employers' liability lines, deteriorating claims experience on specific distribution channels for commercial lines insurance, and weakening case estimates on motor third-party damage classes. All these insights, reported the client, were 'absolute gold dust'.
