RNA Analytics wins reporting software of the year for its R3S Workflow Manager platform that has helped APAC insurers to meet the growing complexity of solvency regimes in the region.
The introduction of Japan's J-ICS regime in 2025, and similar frameworks in Korea and Southeast Asia, have created pressure for insurers to modernise actuarial processes.
R3S Workflow Manager provided a tailored solution with built-in compliance support for J-ICS, IFRS 17, and Solvency II. It enables insurers to meet Financial Services Agency requirements with automated governance controls, detailed audit trails and accurate capital reporting.
Nippon Life and Taiju Life both adopted R3S Workflow Manager to prepare for J-ICS compliance. The platform's ability to align with regulatory timelines gave both insurers confidence in meeting their obligations ahead of the 2025 deadline.
The platform has also reduced actuarial workloads by an estimated 30-50%, shortened model execution times through distributed processing and strengthened transparency with full audit trails and compliance-ready documentation.
Judges praised the software for helping insurers to overcome the complexities of major capital regulatory frameworks in the region as well as being aligned with IFRS 17.
"Winning 'Reporting Software of the Year' is a huge achievement and a powerful validation of the strategic investments we've made in the R3S Workflow Manager," said Harry Kim, Group CEO of RNA Analytics. "This award confirms that our approach [of] providing a single, transparent, and automated platform for complex risk reporting is setting the new standard for operational excellence in the region."
