Reinsurance Group of America (RGA) has created an online pension risk transfer (PRT) hub to provide insights and expertise for pension plan sponsors in navigating the risk transfer environment.
The US-headquartered life reinsurer’s tool includes a de-risking guide for plan sponsors and an overview of its PRT capabilities.
Last month, Aon said the US PRT market broke records in 2024 with 785 transactions totalling $51.8bn in market volume.
RGA and Legal & General Retirement America (LGRA) both won PRT innovation of the year in InsuranceERM’s Americas awards 2024.
Meanwhile, InsuranceERM’s annual Americas awards 2025 launched last week, which include the categories: PRT deal of the year; and funded reinsurance provider of the year. The closing date for entries is Friday 11 April 2025.
