RSA picks non-exec for CFO role

RSA has appointed Charlotte Jones as chief financial officer (CFO), replacing Scott Egan who became chief executive of the insurer’s UK and international division earlier this month.

Jones is currently CFO of Jupiter Fund Management and is also a non-executive director of RSA, sitting on the audit and risk committees.

She will remain on the board and committees but will no longer be considered independent.

Jones joined Jupiter in 2016 following a spell at Credit Suisse as head of group finance. She  previously spent 14 years at consultancy EY, latterly as a partner, and was also at Deutsche Bank in various senior financial roles.

In her new role, which she is expected to take up mid-year subject to regulatory approval, she will report to group chief executive Stephen Hester.

Hester said: “We are delighted that Charlotte has agreed to join RSA as CFO. She has excellent financial services credentials and is well known to us, having served as a non-executive director on our board over the last year.”
